Well thought-out. Scalable. Strong branding.
For the world’s leading trade fair, Light + Building, we once again created the exhibition stand for Fränkische Rohrwerke — based on a continuously refined exhibition concept that goes far beyond a simple stand design. Under the guiding principle “Powering what really matters”, the stand was designed to clearly communicate the company’s innovative strength and brand message: energy, efficiency and quality in every connection.
Client objective: Combining flexibility and brand presence
The aim was to develop a well-thought-out, scalable concept that could be flexibly adapted to different trade fair formats whilst consistently conveying the client’s clear brand identity.
Our solution – a modular system concept that evolves from trade fair to trade fair whilst remaining architecturally clear. It was modular in design, versatile in application and conceived with sustainability in mind, so that no new production is required for each individual trade fair. Furthermore, the concept is adaptable internationally, can be used flexibly by different business divisions, and can be implemented at leading trade fairs as well as specialist exhibitions and regional events.
The stand, which covers around 300 m², is therefore based on a clear principle: it is not an isolated one-off project, but a versatile brand tool. The concept can be consistently adapted for events such as Light + Building, IFAT or regional trade fairs – delivering a consistent brand impact whilst allowing for flexible use of space.
The challenge: flexibility without compromising the concept
Striking a balance between adaptability and brand recognition was particularly challenging: the system had to accommodate different stand sizes, target groups and trade fair objectives without diluting the brand impact.
ISIDesign® as the key to implementation
With clearly defined communication levels and fixed product and campaign areas in recurring formats, we implemented a flexible design principle using our patented ISIDesign® system. Individual elements — particularly product walls — can be recombined, expanded or reduced without altering the overall appearance. In this way, the brand architecture is preserved whilst the stand adapts to new requirements.
