Sopro Bauchemie – Success with a constant partner for more than 20 years
Only a few metres separate the ISINGERMERZ workshops from the premises of Sopro Bauchemie GmbH; a rather incidental footnote when you consider the long-standing, intensive partnership between the two companies, in which ISINGERMERZ supports its customer Sopro in all aspects of presentation with creative craftsmanship and reliable service. Sopro Bauchemie is a leading manufacturer of high-quality construction chemicals with distribution networks throughout Europe. The sale of its wide range of products through specialist retailers targets both
professional and private users the focus of advertising activities. Architects and planners are also constantly involved and kept informed as part of the holistic construction process. To this end, appearances are made at numerous trade fairs, construction markets and mobile promotional tours. For ISINGERMERZ, this customer relationship is typical of its understanding of professional support and constant cooperation. An incredible amount has been developed and built in over 20 years. However, we will keep it brief for the exemplary story of an ideal partnership.
Working together towards market success
... for the world's leading trade fair BAU in 2003: creative competition won, spectacular execution, harmonious ‘chemistry’ among the new partners. With a powerful yet transparent two-storey exhibition stand, we were able to demonstrate our design expertise and construction potential. The subsequent intensification of participation in other construction trade fairs in Germany and abroad, with stand areas ranging from 5 to 500 square metres, placed high demands on the scalability of stand design and construction components.
As a suitable solution, we developed a balanced mix of our rentable, patented ISIDesign construction kit as a basic framework with individual special cladding and product-specific special displays. This means that every stand area can be designed variably, but always remains ‘Sopro’.
... in planning and packaging and careful handling of materials is a matter of course for us. Thanks to the precise fit of the elements, all components can be varied as desired. Their excellent practical handling optimises storage and transport processes and ensures an exceptionally long service life. The extensive inventory built up over time also allows for several parallel events. At the same time, we have been able to demonstrate that robust materials and visual appeal go very well together. Sopro, on the other hand, supports the goal of economical management through consistently lean decisions and brand policy consistency. At the same time, its remarkable courage to innovate repeatedly enables exciting project results. It allows the necessary space for creative interpretation and implementation.
... at major trade fairs such as BAU, GALABAU, INTERBAD and Sweden's NORDBYGG, competition is fierce and established. Sopro reaches a broad audience of end consumers through short-term presentations directly in specialist stores. Despite the very different spatial and logistical conditions, we ensure that the brand message is conveyed equally everywhere through intensive advance planning and experienced execution. Craftsmanship trumps digital. Customers have little need for moving images, but they crowd around the three-dimensional application models with interest, which show in detail and in a hands-on way how the right Sopro product works for insulation, comb beds and tile joints. More than 100 different models are permanently in circulation and attract huge audiences.
... is the demand for displays, dummies and demonstration models, which we addressed at an early stage by setting up our own development workshop. There, prototypes are planned, tested and built according to specific functional requirements, often in close collaboration with Sopro's ‘prototype builders’. Mobile light columns with glitter effect, a casting model for the Guinness Book of Records, a walk-in book. Unique pieces, small series, always up to date, optimised for handling and reliably maintained. Particularly tricky exhibition stand details are prepared 1:1 in the workshop; vehicle fleets are equipped and branded for promotional campaigns. Since structured work for mobile presentations always requires product-appropriate packaging and organised warehousing, these disciplines are also managed responsibly from here.
... is the integration of all projects into the comprehensive range of services offered by ISINGERMERZ workshops. Everything can be done in-house using wood, metal, plastic, paint and electricity. With traditional, meticulous craftsmanship or CAD-based precision milling. Advertising finishes, from foil cutting to large-format printing,
complement the range of possibilities. The all-in-one approach definitely avoids time pressure on both sides. However, the availability of a firmly established and centrally managed team in production and assembly is also essential for continuous processing.
Constantly increasing work volumes and parallel events at widely scattered locations require flexible manpower adjustments time and again.
And now?
Thousands of square metres of exhibition space were built up with tonnes of material, and tens of thousands of hours of work produced impressive results. We are convinced that we have helped Sopro on its way to market success.
