When it comes to future-oriented technologies in the wood industry, LIGNA is the international meeting place for the sector. For the second year running, we had the pleasure of realizing the LIGNA.FutureSquare as the exhibition stand construction partner – and we're already looking forward to the next one.
Commissioned by the VDMA Woodworking Machinery Association, we created a joint stand that provided a platform for startups and member companies to showcase their ideas. Our task: to create a modular stand architecture that combines openness, visibility, and flexibility – while simultaneously offering space for innovation.
With a well-thought-out zoning concept, clean lines, and an open design, we created a space that served both as a platform for product presentations and as a meeting point for dialogue. The Startup Area (Hall 12, Stand A01) in particular impressively demonstrated the innovative power within the VDMA network: 14 young companies and LIGNA newcomers presented their solutions for the wood industry here – from smart software for process optimization and CO₂ measurement systems to sustainable concepts for timber construction.
The FutureSquare (Hall 12, Booth A04) became a vibrant hub for exchange – with a lounge atmosphere, coffee bar, and plenty of opportunities for in-depth conversations and networking.
